“Like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, that spreads its wings to catch them and carries them on its pinions” (Deut 32:11). A time comes when the Eagle disturbs the nest and pushes the young eaglet out. It falls struggling, unable to fly, and it looks like death. Then the mother leaves the nest, hurdling itself down to catch the eaglet, and carry it back to the nest on her pinions. The next day, and every day, the process is repeated until the eaglet becomes strong enough to fly, and joins its mother in flight.
Has God disturbed your life? Has He pushed you from your comfort zone? If so, it is in order for you to fulfill your life. Just as leaving the eaglet in the nest fails it in knowing the power that is within it, so God must show you the power that resides in you.
What is God doing with you? He is enabling you to discover the things in you which are of Himself. Has he pushed you out to what looks like disaster, only to bear you at the last minute on His pinions; again and again until he teaches you to soar.
