Do you remember in grade school math class how we were given long lists of numbers to add up? I don’t know about you, but for me it was always frustrating because those numbers often didn’t add up.
Did you know that mankind today, for only the second time in history, has all of our knowledge accessible to us? The first time was at the great library at Alexandria, Egypt circa 200 B.C.? With all our knowledge today one would think this world would make sense, but it’s like that grade school math class; it too often doesn’t add up.
Ephesians 1:10 says, “The summing up … in Christ.” What a great verse of hope! It means that with Christ things add up, and if they don’t add up right now, eventually they are going too.
It is comforting to know everything is being brought into meaningful relationship under the headship of Christ. What does that mean? It means that someday it will all add up.
Looking forward to my A+
